Sweet Teaon the White River
Misty dawn on the White River below Bull Shoals Dam

Bull Shoals Dam · White River · Arkansas

Cold water,
wild trout,
and a long slow drift.

Guided trips on one of the finest tailwaters in America. Just you, the river, and a guide who's been doing this his whole life.

01 — The Water

Right below the dam, where the river runs cold all year.

The water leaves Bull Shoals at 48 degrees and stays that way for miles. It's the reason the White River grows some of the biggest brown trout in the country, and why the rainbows fight harder than they have any right to.

We spin fish — light tackle, real bait, the way it's done down here. You don't need to know a thing about fly casting to put a trophy in the net. Just show up.

"Some days the fog never lifts off the water. Those are the best ones."

03 — Your Guide

Jeff Farmer.

I've been fishing the White most of my life. I know where the browns hold when the generators kick on, where the rainbows stack up on a low-water morning, and where to tie up for a sandwich when you've had enough.

My boat holds three but I recommend two anglers for the best experience. I bring the rods, the bait, the ice, and the stories. You bring a hat, a license, and whatever you want to drink.

The name's a long story. Ask me on the boat.
